....Life on campus

Walking through Stanford this week, I couldn’t help but think about the vision it took to build something this beautiful. The same architect who gave us Central Park-Frederick Law Olmsted-helped design this campus.

Great institutions aren’t just about the buildings or the landscaping, though Stanford’s got plenty of both. They’re about bringing together brilliant minds from every corner of our world and giving them the space-literally and figuratively-to dream big and solve the problems that matter.

This week reminded me that when we invest in education, when we create these spaces for learning and discovery, we’re not just building for today. We’re building for the next generation, and the one after that.
